Terrible reading

It was painful to listen to this performance! There were weird pauses all over the place! I almost discontinued reading several times because of it.

Very touching and inspiring

This is a fabulous, touching, inspiring story. Thanks to him for sharing. If you need a spiritual boost, or are just not sure what you believe, I believe you will find hope and peace from his story. I have read many near death experiences,& find them to be surprisingly similar. It reaffirmed my personal beliefs in an afterlife. I especially love the fact that he changed the perspective of his life afterwards,and chose to lift and give hope to others. I am very touched when people choose to enrich others lives after personal experiences that are traumatic. Im impressed that they almost feel it is their 'calling' in life to pay it forward and inspire with hope. I personally when through a very long discouraging illness with a lot of surgery, pain,& life altering circumstances. I too was frustrated when I couldn't get answers,& people were dismissive to me. Good for him for being so intimate in his Sharing . This has made me feel less angry & frustrated. It's healing to hear of people turning bad experiences into life lessons. I try to pay it forward as well. He reaffirmed to me how important that is to help each other through life's crazy journey! This is a sweet quick listen. It'll brighten your life, no matter what you believe, especially if you are in the throes of any grief or physical struggles. You'll be glad you took the time to listen,& you'll be receiving a lift that you may not realize you even needed.

Very encouraging story

It’s the story of a man and his experience in heaven which is amazing and loved every description he gave. It was incredible. He also tells his story when he came back to Earth and the trials he and his family had to go through which l thought was a great testimony in itself. It’s a great book to give hope and to help you understand how the Lord can use any situation and turn it for your good.

3 hrs to go…

is it really fair to leave a review when u haven’t finished the book? this is the second time in ten years for me to try to read this book. this is the second time I have gotten bogged down at the same point in the story….many, many pages of depression and recovery. I am very sympathetic to what occurred and the story of recovery. for reading purposes, it is very repetitive.

Inspiration and hope

I listen with an unruptured brain aneurysm, knowing I am at least an hour from an emergency room, and more hours from a flight to a better hospital. Now I only fear leaving my children to bear the pain of losing me, but placing my hope in Jesus that He has more for me here right now, in order to save my children from that pain.

Great Story

This book is amazing. His story is captivating. I became a part of this book, relating to his struggles with healing. A must read!

A voice for heaven!

A great book about a great person, also how familiarity and having been in the same situation is of great help for others. Also a testament to a person that cares by just being there, without religion having to be a important part. But that the human connection is so important.

As for a book about NDE, its OK. Its not great or sheds a lot of light about NDE. But as a conformation about NDE it is OK. I find myself wishing for more information about the incident/experience it self. But maybe the portray of the person is a testament to the experience?

The greatness of this book is in its main character, Don Piper! A person to emulate!

I would recommend it, not as a NDE book, but as a book about the effect of having been in heaven for 90 minutes.

What did you love best about 90 Minutes in Heaven?

I found this book while helping clean out my best friends home just after her young life ended last year. I'm a Catholic and DO BELIEVE in heaven, but this book was just SO COMFORTING.
I downloaded it today so that my Dad - who can't see enough to read - could listen to it. He's in a lot of pain after losing my Mom a month ago; his wife of SIXTY SIX years.
The book was better than I thought it would be and isn't corny at all. I think it could be a comfort to many people in their time of grief.

This book made me cry. I loved that the person going through all this read it to me. I'll be listening again soon
