Publisher's summary

Ramage, finally reunited with his beloved Sarah, hopes to spend at least a few quiet weeks with her. Instead, he is summoned by Admiral Nelson himself. His orders: Ramage is to join Nelson's fleet blockading the combined French and Spanish navies in the port of Cadiz. But Nelson's plan is not merely to blockade the enemy's fleet. He intends to confront it head-on in the biggest naval battle the world has ever seen.

A great series.

All the books are masterfully written. There’s plenty of action, character development and an added bonus of humor. I adore these books. Crossley ‘s performance is brilliant.

A Step Up

Would you listen to Ramage at Trafalgar again? Why?

This book brought back some of the glory of the earlier books in this series. This book was well written with the climax of the battle of Trafalgar bringing it to a great conclusion.

Any additional comments?

Again, Crossley has done an excellent job in his narration. He makes the characters live with his clear distinctions of the person involved.

another story in the long series

Published in 1986 this particular book covers the largest naval battle in history at the time. with the same reoccurring characters and historical figures. you would have to read t some of the books in the beginning of the of the long-running series to appreciate it. At the time he had kind of a cult following. the plot was interesting and the performance was outstanding Steve crossley has done a great job in all these books.
