Totally Distracting

What disappointed you about The Seeker's Guide to Harry Potter - Audible Audio Edition - of the DVD by Reality Films?

This might have been better if someone actually spent time making it for audio instead of taking it from the DVD. Tons of background noise, so noisy that you really can't tell what the speaker is saying. Traffic noise, long periods of repetitive music, "OM"ing. All probably works in the DVD, BUT NOT FOR AUDIO!

What was most disappointing about Geo Athena Trevarthen’s story?

The fact that she has a ton of great information but the audio was so full of background distraction that it wasn't possible to hold attention to what she was saying.

What didn’t you like about the narrator’s performance?

The quality of the recording (her voice only) was shallow and tinny.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Seeker's Guide to Harry Potter - Audible Audio Edition - of the DVD by Reality Films?

I would have cut all the background noise and actually allowed the listener to focus in on the story, her message.

Any additional comments?

It’s ok

Interesting, but meh. Too much fill in music for my taste. Narrator is pleasant to listen to. But quiet, compared to all the music.

Poor Structure, Light on Content

Any additional comments?

The audiobook is artificially lengthened by long stretches of music interrupting pieces of content.

Even worse, the music continues over the content making the book difficult to listen to.
