Today on O&A, we start today’s show talking about Opie and his trip to the Rangers game last night. He says he is a free agent fan looking to be wooed by a new NHL team. Opie talks about a video he posted last night where a cabbie got into a confrontation with another driver and almost gets run over. Mike from NHL home ice calls in to talk Hockey. We bring up yesterday’s embarrassing tape day and we find out that after seeing Roland skinny, Travis is worried about his future weight gain. We play a clip of Michael Moore talking to Rachel Maddow about guns and gun crimes, which sets Anthony off. Ant argues race and gun crimes with some of the callers. Rich Vos stops by and talks again about how frugal he is and we talk about him shopping for an iPad. Vos talks about having kids as well. We start to bring up American Idol, but it turns into a conversation about the band Journey, and near-death situations in the wilderness. We end the show with Ricky Gervais’ creative partner Stephen Merchant in studio, talking about his new television shows, bad sitcoms, and Ricky on the Golden Globes.
