So much fun!!!!

What did you love best about Neverwhere [Adaptation]?

Everything! The story is so weird and funny! The cast couldn't be better! All my favorites together.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes! Benedict Cumberbatch could read the back of a cereal box and I'd listen intently to every word and love every minute of it. Anthony Head too, for that matter. I just love Bernard Cribbins. How could you not? Their performances in this production are superb!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and when it's finished, I want to listen all over again. The cast brings the story to life perfectly.

Any additional comments?

I can't recommend this enough!

Incredible production

Great casting! Plot was confusing at first but builds momentum fast. Expertly performed and produced. Highly recommend as tv alternative. And this is my least fav of his novels! Go Neil!!

Fun listen

Did the narrators do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

The narrators did a great job with their characters. I realize this was a radio play and so all the added sound effects made for a different listen from a reading of a book, but those sound effects made it difficult to understand the words. I would have enjoyed being able to understand the words better if some of the sound effects had been toned down.

Any additional comments?

Fun story to listen to. All the characters did a good job. Just wish the sound effects had been toned down.

enjoyable

Very enjoyable story The voice acting was very well done. but I found my self annoyed with the sound effects sometimes drowning out what the characters were saying. also since there is no general narration in parts the sound effects only pains a fuzzy picture of what's happening in scene. the credits after each section also breaks the flow of the book. the voice acting is vivid and expressive and makes it immersive. over all enjoyable audio book

Neil Gaiman as always its been a pleasure

I couldn't get into this one at first. I loved the full cast and the character development was great from the start. It wasn't until I heard this one joke that I liked that I really came to appreciate the experience as a whole. This was an easy read and yet it still managed to surprise me unexpectedly.

Awesome!!!

What a fun way to listen to a story!! I wish more books were produced this way with this quality. Only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough!

Compelling

It was a lot of story compressed into a little amount of time, but quite thrilling.

Excellent Storytelling

Loved almost everything about the story and actors except for at the end of EVERY CHAPTER the cast list for each chapter is given. I really despised that aspect of such a good reading! It almost made me want to stop the audible because I just wanted to get to the next chapter!

Fantastic Rendering of the Book!

If you could sum up Neverwhere [Adaptation] in three words, what would they be?

My favorite all-star audiobook adaptation thus far.

Which scene was your favorite?

Scenes with Benedict Cumberbatch- he brought a whole new level of creepiness to Islington.

Any additional comments?

If you are a fan of Gaiman and the book, you will not regret this adaptation!
