Ladies of Letters Say No | [Lou Wakefield, Carole Hayman]

Ladies of Letters Say No

Prunella Scales and Patricia Routledge take on the world in another hilarious series of the BBC Radio 4 comedy hit. The caustic correspondence between Irene Spencer and Vera Small is always richly entertaining, and these latest letters are no exception. Catty and competitive as ever, the pensioner pen-pals find themselves in yet more trouble in this latest series.

    "Great talent"

Great talent but not a great storyline

    "a weakest link?"

On the whole this is probably one of the weakest offerings in the 'Ladies of Letters' series- the plot is fairly dull and the denouement even more ridiculous than usual.

Exhaust all the others in the series first before resorting to this.
