Publisher's Summary

The 50th anniversary of the publication of Jack Kerouac's autobiographical novel On the Road inspired this documentary, about two men who, at mid-life, re-read Kerouac's book and get behind the wheel. Their 4,000-mile road trip is a journey of reflection and discovery.

    Story
"The author is definitely no Kerouac!"
Would you try another book from David Berner and/or David Berner?

    No

Would you ever listen to anything by David Berner again?

    No

What didn’t you like about David Berner’s performance?

    Most all of it.

What character would you cut from Finding My Kerouac?

    All of them

    Any additional comments?

Traveling several thousand miles in a 30 foot motor home and staying in motels when you tire of the road is hardly a Kerouac experience. I feel as though someone borrowed the name of a great author to sell books as the story has NO merit of it's own and bears no relation to the great beat generation author. I am being generous with two stars.
