"The best by miles"
Anyone with an interest in Natural History, has to pay homage to
the Grand Master of our times. An excellent insight into the world of our very own naturalist.
I listen to audiobooks before I sleep and quite often whilst I'm asleep too!
I love Attenborough's literally style- it's all about the animals. Often coming from a time that is long gone, almost 1960s new presenter. Each story has a moral to it inevitably that relates to himself, yourself or the world in general.
A simple pleasure in a world of complicated ones!
I could listen to David Attenborough all day. His life has been fascinating and the stories he tells are always interesting and insightful.
"All you need to know about cuckoos"
Sir David always has plenty of intriguing stuff to tell us from fireflies to dinosaurs this time with cuckoos in between. Fascinating!
"As you would expect from Attenborough, Brilliant"
Have listened to it several times already, every story is interesting and his narrative takes you on a journey to the places he describes and you get such a clear image of what he is talking about.
His life is so interesting and his narration is heartfelt. An absolute gem of a book .
I can never tire of listening to Sir David Attenborough's natural history experiences. The story of the migrating humming birds in USA is particularly charming. Enjoy.
What a fabulous career, loved the book/listen was also great to have been narrated by David Attenborough. Any one who is interested in natural history I would strongly recommend this, although if you have listen to a life on air there is quite a lot of overlap although a more condensed version, but still loved it
Amazing, I could to this listen over and over. If your an Attenborough fan this is a must buy! Really good to just relax and listen to :). A very interesting audiable as it contains all different facts and insights, listened to it in a bits as it is just over3 hours long, but very excellent!
