Run by the forbidding divorcée Carolyn Knapp-Shappey (an unfortunate marriage, namewise, but in Carolyn's opinion, marginally better than Carolyn Shappey-Knapp), her two pilots are the smooth, experienced, and almost-certainly-fired-by-a-big-airline-for-all-around naughtiness Douglas, and struggling, almost competent Martin. All-round help is provided by Carolyn's near-idiot son, Arthur.

John Finnemore is, as Arthur would say "Brilliant!"
The entire cast pull this off perfectly, even on repeat listens I still find myself chuckling!
All of the performances and writing are top notch. I havent found a funnier or better written show yet.
This show reminds me alot of the Hicthhikers Guide to the Galaxy
It's not a book, it's a radio program with an audience. Funny dialogue.
The actors are wonderful
Like many others, I downloaded it because of Benedict Cumberbatch and it also stars Roger Allam that I just watched in the "Endeavor" TV series as a detective. Everyone's performances are very good and with endearing characters.
Yes ! Cleaning the house !
May not be for everyone. It's very silly British humor.
After enjoying the first series so much, I bought this one as well. I listen to it while knitting and I have a great time with it.
A really funny and terrific series! When is number 3 coming out? Laugh out loud silliness. The performers are wonderful and the writing is great. I want more!
This is an enjoyable comedy, the writing is good, but the pleasure is also in timing and performance of the actors.
I do not have a favourite character. The chemistry between the characters is entertaining and how they compliment each other, it would not work without any of them.
"Best radio comedy I have heard.."
I have listened to this and all of the series of Cabin Pressure many times, and cannot recommend it enough - it is simply brilliant.
Superb characters captured with skill, spot on timing and a witty script. A comedy classic!
In the words of Arthur, Brilliant! The funniest radio show by the king of comedy.
Funny, clever & beautifully played by the actors
I loved the episode where they drove the plane down the road
The first officer always turns in a great performance- & has a lovely voice.
"Utterly brilliant. "
Exceptional. Genius comedy from the pen of John Finnemore. Stupendous performances from a stellar cast. Repeat listens an absolute necessity to ward off gloom. A bargain.
I have listened to this series, from 1-4 (and special episodes) in an almost continuous loop. Each hearing still amuses me and my 6 & 7 year old daughters can recite from it! We love it x
"fun fun fun"
yet another brilliant series from Mr F..
Hillarious as usual. Never stopped laughing from the minute I started playing it.
Entirely delightful from start to finish! Very funny, entertaining, and well-executed. Listening to this always lifts my mood.
The whole series had me bursting into laughter so often that I must have looked like a complete loony to my fellow commuters. I keep revisiting it whenever I need cheering up of the audio kind.
