In this Christmas special 'Molokai' - It's Christmas morning, but when Carolyn schedules an extra stop-off to the Hawaiian island of Molokai, Arthur has just seven minutes to celebrate Christmas. Stephanie Cole, Benedict Cumberbatch & Roger Allam star in the second series of the hit sitcom about the tiny charter airline for whom no job is too small, but many, many jobs are too difficult. By John Finnemore (‘The News Quiz’, ‘That Mitchell & Webb Sound’). Run by the forbidding divorcée Carolyn Knapp-Shappey (an unfortunate marriage, name wise, but in Carolyn’s opinion, marginally better than Carolyn Shappey-Knapp), her two pilots are the smooth, experienced and almost-certainly-fired-by-a-big-airline-for-all-round naughtiness Douglas, and struggling almost-competent pilot and sweaty man Martin. All-round help is provided by Carolyn’s near-idiot son, Arthur.

I love the Cabin Pressure series. They are all hilarious.
The other Cabin Pressure series.
I've got all the Cabin Pressure series and I listen to them over and over again. This is at the high standard you can expect, not only from John Finnemore's writing, but also from Stephanie Cole, Roger Allam, Benedict Cumberbatch and John Finnemore as performers.
I don't want to mention my favourite moment as it's a spoiler - it's the very end - and as Arthur says it's Brilliant!
John Finnemore is a genius, and he proves it again with this hysterical Christmas special. I usually listen while I drive, and I almost drove off the road laughing when the bit about the umbrella unfolds in the cockpit. Pure genius, I tell ya. Loved every moment! :)
I've spent my entire life around the written word - writing it, editing it, teaching it. So, it's no wonder I also love to read it!
Whenever I need a swift mood change, I immediately go to Cabin Pressure…it doesn't matter which season or what episode, the program never fails to disappoint me. Every episode is hysterical and well-acted and I laugh heartily at every line. I'm so disappointed that the show is over...
I just love Cabin Pressure. I was suprised to see this little gem and enjoyed it very much. They always make me laugh out loud!
I was thrilled to find that there was another episode of Cabin Pressure I hadn't listened to yet. It really cracks me up. The voice talent is just top notch.
Laugh out loud funny, brilliantly written and delightfully performed.
Get dressed ye merry gentlemen shall be my new herald for Christmas morn!
What a gift to have found another episode. Absolutely hilarious of course. (Molokai follows Limerick at the end of Series 2.). Then series 3, 4 then Zurich.
Certainly lived up to the rest of the episodes so far!
I think this is my favourite radio show, this and Just a Minute!
A lover of audiobooks of all kinds, since childhood, when long car journeys were accompanied by Discworld stories. @ReineDesLivres (Twitter)
It's Christmas and the crew of MJN are as busy as Santa's elves (and Arthur is definitely as excitable as one). Join Carolyn, Martin, Douglas and Arthur for some festive fun in this half-hour Christmas special, Molokai (which is an island in Hawai'i). As usual, John Finnemore's script is laugh our loud funny and the performances are outstanding. Whether you're a seasoned Cabin Pressure fan, or testing out an episode, you'll find this audiobook is brilliant.
"The pressure keepps on building till you burst out"
Another great episode of this brilliant radio comedy.
There is ionly one negative ITS TOO SHORT. Come on BBC lets have some more
"I Love This Show"
If you don't like well written/performed comedy then go watch some paint dry because this show is one of the best comedies written.
The whole series had me bursting into laughter so often that I must have looked like a complete loony to my fellow commuters. I keep revisiting it whenever I need cheering up of the audio kind.
"Hilarious acting for Arthur"
John Finnemore's the funniest man alive!!! Douglas is very humorous when teasing Martin, but Caroline's a comical, shouty, hilarious monster!!!!
"A great episode of a great series"
I somehow missed Cabin Pressure when it was first broadcast and am now catching up via Audible. This is a very funny, very enjoyable edition of a really fantastic show.
just brilliantiant, the only thing that would make it better would be if it was twice the length. cabin pressure just gets better and better. funniest radio series in decades. great writing, running gags and character development which is rare in comedy. impossible not to laugh even on sixth listen.
John Finnemore deserves a medal for the Cabin Pressure programmes. I played this to my husband on a car journey and we were both laughing so much we over shot our Motorway exit
"Very merry for Christmas"
As a one-off from the regular series, this is up to standard. Witty, full of funny moments and I would recommend without hesitation.
"A Worthwhile Christmas Special"
I usually hate "Christmas Specials" in any TV or Radio series. They seem to just be an excuse for the writers to slack off and give us sappy platitudes.
But the Cabin Pressure: Molokai Christmas Special is the exception to the rule. It does relate to Christmas, but in an intelligent way, with dialog and a story that, if possible, is even better than usual.
"This is really a good book !!"
This is really a good book and this book i recommend to everyone and worth it .
