Useful Information, Terrible Format

The book includes a companion PDF containing code snippets etc, but the code is also read aloud in the audiobook. The result is that useful chapters are broken up by droning "greater than greater than greater than..." blocks. Code isn't really audio-friendly, and I think the book would be better served by an audio track that refers the listener to the companion PDF for the code snippets rather than rattling off the lines. Tough to listen to.

Simple explanations and logical progression

I had my doubts about reading an audiobook on learning a programming language. Timothy Needham makes it fun, fast, and effective. The book paces well and the accompanying PDF makes it easy to follow along!

Excellent comprehensive introduction to python!

This is a perfect book for everyone. As you can see, there are a lot of different things that you are going to be able to do when you decide to work with the python coding language. A lot of examples were used to illustrate points being discussed e.g data types, python programming syntax, variables and operators etc.

Begging for reviews every other chapter is annoying.

Since for the fourth time the author has asked to post a review I am doing so. It’s in poor taste to harass users to review an audiobook like this.

This is an excellent Python book to learn quickly

This is an excellent Python book to learn quickly. A thorough and deep dive in the Python language. Anyone who goes through this work seriously has not only the knowledge of the language but also the knowledge of the how and why of the language.

Excellent Book and Well Written

Very detailed information about python features. Python is easy to use, but not everyone can really use it.
I bought a Python Crushing Course and completed reading it in 1 Week. And I felt I still know nothing about Python except some functions. So I bought Mark Lutz's Book. After read 600+ pages, I am writing reviews right now.

This book is the best book i ever read on this topic.This book will introduce you to fundamentals of python programming so that at the end of it, you know the basics of the language and able to further your knowledge to become a full-time python developer.Well written by the author.I highly recommended for this book.

This audiobook is very helpful; I just wish that at the end of every chapter, they would stop asking for me to leave a review. I would save that for the very end of the book.

THE python book

This is easily the best python-book for newcomers/intermediates I've come across. Recommend to everyone who wants a deeper knowledge than the regular intro-books. And written very well.
