Great Writer; Narrator Not Clear
Content is very intriguing and thought provoking.
Narrator hundreds of times reads with variety of pitch yet on the end of sentences goes low and soft. YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND his last word or words. Especially at the end of a scripture quote or main point. I turned volume all the way up, went back to hear many times to no avail. Keep the print copy close if you want to catch everything.

Thorough and Helpful
This book is somewhat daunting in length, but I found it to be worth the time and attention needed. It is both helpful, relevant, and thorough as Piper brings the reader through an exhibition of God's working of his plan as He "sees to it" that his will is accomplished. I would recommend this book to anyone who could get through it successfully.

Tremendous work.
Not just epic in size, this book is epic in its thoroughness and clarity. Seeing the Providence of God through Biblical lenses, from Genesis to Revelation builds such a confidence and joy in the working of Almighty God!! Listen to this audio book (which is expertly read), download the free pdf from DesiringGod.org, and buy a paper copy for your shelf! This is a resource you will refer back to often.

Best by John Piper
The best supplement to the reading of the Bible. Much needed in the noise of much of known theology, modern and of days long gone.
