Publisher's summary

The runaway best seller The Millionaire Next Door told us who America's wealthy really are. The Millionaire Mind tells how they got there, and how to become one of them. In this audio program, you'll discover the surprising answers to questions such as: what success factors made them wealthy in one generation; what part did luck and school grades play; how do they find the courage to take financial risks; how did they find their ideal vocations; what are their spouses like and how did they choose them; how do they run their households; how do they buy and sell their homes; and what are their favorite leisure activities. To become a millionaire you have to think like one. The Millionaire Mind tells you how.

Give this book to every Teenager you know who struggles in school or doesn't like the Traditional job style it helped me to think out side the box.

You may be the next millionaire

"The Millionaire Mind" is a good listen.

Though I do not expect to become a millionaire tomorrow just by listening, I did gain some concrete ways of investing and managing my finances that seem to work for the nation's top net worth network. In addition to intriguing descriptions of business and money management practices, the author describes work-life balance practices that I can definitely apply to my life.

In the end (spoiler alert), there is a narrative about making good choices and being true to oneself that speaks to me as a listener, and a validation of going against the current as a indicator of those "most likely to succeed."

The narration is a little dry. Only at the book's conclusion is there a slight American southern "twang" that seems to come out of nowhere.
I'm unsure if the performer is channeling the person described in the case study.

Give it a listen and let me know what you think.

Confirms some things you should have known.

Enlightening you on the rest of the things you should know. Should be required reading in middle school, but there's no wonder why it isn't.

Succinct information with great narration.

I like the fact that the information wasn’t surmised yet first hand input from those in the focus group of the subject matter. The parlance was succinct, substantive and to the point without a circular means of communication. All too often a writer tries to repetitively justify his assertions to the reader, this author went straight forward with his information. He was well able to come to logical derivatives. Both about the knowledge and first hand experience without “dancing for conclusions or narratives”. It was well written with content fully supportive of the authors conclusions.

Dr Stanley certainly delivers another great installment based on his research of millionaires. Im sure he has enough material for one more book! I like how the focus of this book is people's vocation and also gives some inspiration that becoming wealthy is attainable.

life changing if you allow it to be

This book was amazing and I'm only hoping that I can apply the principles taught in the book. It's ultimately up to me. Those who say they can, and those who say they can't both people are right. I'm glad I get to choose which one I am.
