Publisher's summary
Deep in the ocean, lived a maiden like no other....
A beautiful and clever mermaid from a world called Madaka. A place of peace and tranquility...
A place where a king waits...plots...all for a love that will never be! And another war will have to be waged. For Fin has yet to return....
Finora was hailed as the most beautiful creature in all of Madaka. But she doesn’t want the title. She doesn’t want the king. She wants her life to be normal. And she wants her world to be free. But the king of Eulachon has more in store. He wants control of all of Madaka, and he still wants Fin.
Part two continues in the epic drama as Fin is forced to return home to battle the now-king of Eulachon - a journey that will take her into the belly of the beast. Fin will discover things about herself that she did not know, and a shocking revelation will have her reeling. A new battle will ensue as the discovery gives her yet another reason to want him destroyed. It will be the fight of a lifetime.
But Fin can’t win it alone. She embarks on a journey, hoping to convince the world to fight with her. But the king of Panga and the queen of Piratchu are not convinced, and Fin is left to do battle on her own. And as she sets out to destroy Andreus, once and for all, he reveals things that destroy all hope. Fin is devastated and heartbroken.
Listen to this epic story about a woman whose face still charms a nation. She is still the reigning queen of Mojarro, and Madaka needs her help. Find out what can happen when one woman yields her strength, beauty, and wit to wage a war against the evils of her world. A woman-versus-man battle, where winner will take all. At the center of it all, is a love that will never be, with a king who vows to make her suffer. And as tragedy strikes and battles rage on, Fin is uncertain if she will ever be with her true love again!
Will Fin prevail? Find out!

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.
