Publisher's summary

Josephine will discover more than she bargained for as her world collides with the plain people of Lancaster County.

Josephine Dronberger was a scared teenager when she left her baby in the care of an Old Order Amish couple. But 17 years have passed, and Josie longs to reconnect with her daughter.

Linda - as the couple named the child - is promised to Stephen Ebersol, the bishop's grandson. They plan to marry in the fall. When her birth mother comes to Paradise, Linda is drawn to a world she's never known. Will the direction she's been heading since birth be suddenly derailed, and who will stand by her convictions - mother or daughter?

Great audible book...

This was a beautifully written story that included a couple of miraculous moments. Spoiler alert...I liked the way the realities of adoption were addressed in this book, along with the struggle to believe (the issue of faith)... and the author's audible note at the end was a true bonus!!

Pl paradise

Nice area that the story takes place in.
Great story line centered around adoption.
Amish community and Amish/English relationships.
Enjoy stories like this that have a lot of people involved and how the author makes it all come together and work.
Prayers to God, and relying on Him, while actively living life!!!
