amazing

the author himself is amazing most people will get bored with all the talking and not alot of action how ever the way he builds each character and how he can draw your emotions is something that's hard to find

Good start to aside series

I enjoyed this book. It's his daughter who has to make her own way in the world and fight your own battles. It's quite enjoyable to see her fight those in her league.

Lack of Self Awarenesss

Great Story to fill the gap while waiting for a new Nightlord. However get use to a total fickle young girl who cant make a decision, at every point she boast her skill.. she seemingly has no idea how to use it and outwardly postures this WOKE perception however has no awareness that her actions ruin countless lives yet she believes her indecisiveness had no play…
Great job on triggering my emotion’s and making me talk out loud at the book.. not sure i am in love with this style of Character but i liked the story. I think i prefer her dads adventures…

man even the interludes are phenomenal.

Phoebe has her own fantastic story going. I can't wait for more. especially all the Easter eggs that are laced in about "pop"

Beat yet!!

almost did not listen to this one. I don't find most spin offs interesting. I am a big fan of this series, and am glad I went against my initial thoughts. this book was one of the best books in the series. a must listen too.

Outstanding Addition

The narrator was perfect for Phoebe! Well done.
Garon, in usual format, kept the pace perfect in always looking forward to the next chapter qirh anticipation. Looking forward to more about Phoebe and the direction ahe decides to take her life and skills.

Great book. We learn a lot more about Phoebe.

There's a lot of plot threads and world building resolved here. If you're curious about Techtites and Reverend Adam Alden, this is the book to read.

We see a lot more of Phoebe, and a lot more of Dusty too. Phoebe has her own cast and her own battles to fight. All told, it's a pretty fun interlude as far as these things go, and worth reading for Nightlord fans.

I know a lot of readers don't like Phoebe as a character, at least based on what we've read of her from Feuge. This may or may not change your mind, but there are plenty of other characters too, and much of the same building, crafting, and wizardry you expect from a Garon Whited novel.

Loved the sarcasm, complex details Phoebes staunch character and perspective.
Reba Buhr was a superb pick for Phoebes character, doing well with a range of voices and characters.
If you enjoy Garons books in the Nightlord series then you should this book too.
