A great story
Permission to Fly is an American success story about a New England boy who developed a strange goal-to become a songwriter and move to Music City USA where the action was. With a wonderful supportive wife and endless drive he made it to the top. A great story,

Excellent book!
Permission to Fly was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I added it to my library. It was so enjoyable! Mr. Martine has led an amazing life full of blessings and heartaches. Even when touched by tragedy, he has had such a positive outlook regarding his life and his wonderful marriage of many years. I highly recommend this book!

Beautiful story of love and life
Layng Martine Jr is an incredible storyteller. He brings you right along with him as he tells the tales of growing up as a risk-taking boy. He has always had the drive to go after what he wants, and the infectious energy to convince others to give it to him. The love story between he and his wife Linda is one for the ages. I highly recommend this book!
