Many Christians feel guilty when they think of reading the Bible. Though they want to love reading Scripture, they rarely have time for more than a few verses on the run. But the Bible is not meant to be a burden. It is the story of God’s passionate love for His children. It is also not a book of mystical incantations. It is a best friend offering counsel and companionship. And it is not a distant relic, but something very near. Near enough, in fact, to be every reader’s story.
So how do Christians delight in this story rather than see it as a source of failure? The founder of the immensely popular Daily Audio Bible, Brian Hardin shows readers how reading through the Bible in a year will change their life and the lives of others. Passages shows readers how to read the Bible and offers practical ideas for immersing themselves in God’s life-giving words. Here readers will discover that reading the Bible can be a breathtaking adventure.

Eye openining and convicting
There is no other book that puts to words how the bible can effect you by reading it or just listening to it. It has changed my life and my lifes walk.
When Brian discussed the African Park he went to and watched a pride of lions eating a giraffe and comparing it to satan roaming the earth like a lion looking to whom he can devour. These lions consumed the whole carcass. I see satan looking to consume any chance you have of being greeted by Christ.
Throughout the book there are testimonies from real people whose lives were changed just by listening to the Bible for a year.
This book will bring you to the reality of what one book written by many people over many years can do to your life. Make changes in your life that you never thought were possible. Recover and forgive casualties of your life that have brought pain, sorrow, bitterness and suffering. If you have ever thought about reading the bible in a year, this book will kick you in the pants to get you started.
Yes, and I plan to listen again very soon. I want to pick up things I may have missed during the first time through.
Too many profound moments to mention here.
I had no favorite scene other than the common theme throughout, which is God's love, grace and mercy for His children. His Word is His love letters to each of us. We have the ability to reach out and know the mind and heart of God through reading His Word.
This entire book has inspired me to read though THE Book...the Bible!
If you were ever wondering what life altering benefits await you after reading through the Bible, please listen to this book. Brian Hardin & his wife, Jill Parr, do an excellent job narrating, and are truly gifted servants of God. I would also highly recommend the app called Daily Audio Bible. Brian does an amazing job leading a global community through the scripture each day. Trust me, you won't recognize your life after spending one year going through the entire Bible. You WILL be deeply blessed!
Brian's passion really comes through as he reads this. The honest and heartfelt truth through its 'audio pages' are something that people need to hear.
The Daily Audio Bible is Brian's main project. Throughout the years that I have been listening to the DAB, he has kept a firm and unyielding commitment to keeping it real, keeping it passionate, keeping it about the Bible, about community and about God. The DAB has received so much exposure throughout the years, and I honestly think that most people would succumb to the temptation to turn a project like that into a great big marketing scheme. That's one thing that I thank God and Brian from the bottom of my heart for--staying true to the mission. The mission is to get the spoken word of God out to anyone who will listen, anywhere in the world. Brian and the community have only grown closer and closer to achieving that mission with a sincere passion. Come and be a part.
Yeah, pretty much! Although there are some things that I would need to listen to again and again because some of it is so profound and deep, it's hard to take it all in one bite.
Yeah, don't take this as another 'book about reading the bible.' We've all have enough of those. I actually recommend this one because it is freakin' good. I recommend this one because it actually does justice. The Bible is worth reading, and it can change your life. If you want to have your world changed and your hunger for the Word of God restored, get this book.
This book is part motivation and part autobiography.
It is written and read by Brian Hardin who does an excellent job. It tell of how reading the Bible every day will benefit you and about his own spiritual journey.
He is the founder of The Daily Audiobible. If you have ever tried to read the Bible in a year and failed, definately good motivation to do so again.
I will listen again because remebering the 'why' makes the understanding the Word through Daily Audio Bible so much more meaningful and effective in my life. Thanks Brian and DAB Team.

"To help fill the inside yearning of all of us"
This is such a compelling book - how to really read and listen to and understand the Bible. So many times we think we know bits of it but the whole collection of books called The Bible is one whole message for our time. It is also a love story from the God who sees and loves us unconditionally. Why wouldn't we want to explore this relationship?
"An encouraging read"
It's a smooth easy to digest story that reignites the flame of faith.
This is Hardin's usual high value production
