I Can’t Even Listen, He’s Killing the French Language
I had to stop mid first chapter. The book itself sounds very interesting and detailed. I’m going to find the author and follow him on social because he really makes the subject interesting. The narrator is slaughtering the French city names. I can’t even continue to listen. He pronounced the region of Champagne with a horrible American accent. He made mistakes, glaring mistakes. He said “…on the left of the column…and on the left…” meaning left then right. I’m not fluent in French but I know enough that this reading is making me want to rip my ears off. Please replace him and re-do with someone who knows basic French. Please?
