I have spent so much money on books and now i’m forced to buy another book that is a 2 hour book and you cutting the end of the prior book to do this. This is so wrong…. 2700 plus books purchased and i sm having discussions to put my bookin my library again. I feel robbed.

Had been enjoying this series BUT
I have loved other Kate Carlisle series and enjoyed this series until now. I am not a great fan of the new narrator and this story was boring. No real mystery and so short I feel cheated. It was a waste of money. I will try the next one but this may be one of the few series I do not finish.

Disappointed
I am not a fan of novellas, but that is because they seem like a teaser leaving me wanting more. Not so with this one, and I am both shocked and disappointed. This is one of my favorite series. I love Brooklyn and Derek, the Dharma clan, etc., but this book had none of the charm and wit of the books, and Derek wasn't even in it. If anyone starts the series with this novella, please don't give up. The books are great and not to be judged by this.

Wish I had skipped this one
Have to agree with other reviewers. This story was a very disappointing entry I the series that I have enjoyed up to now. The story was flat and unengaging. The narrator is not pleasant to listen to and altogether, I feel I wasted my time and money on this listen.
