Publisher's summary

A jaded single dad and a journalist with a doozy of a secret might be the perfect match to heal two broken hearts…or the perfect storm for disaster.

Jazzy Simon used to be a pro at reading people. That is until she met Finn Walker, the broody musical genius behind the country’s hottest rock stars.

As media correspondent for a new rock and roll documentary, Jazzy is there to get the paycheck her family desperately needs. For an added bonus payment, she'll expose a little scandal on the side.

But as she spends more time with the guarded single dad whose dedication to his daughter lights her heart on fire, Jazzy’s ability to read people goes out the window, along with her suspicions that Finn is involved in anything more than school drop offs and ballet classes.

When the sparks fly, secrets begin to fall apart, and hearts are put on the line. As the truth comes out, will they fight for a whirlwind romance, or will their love crash and burn?

Perfect for those who love a good mix of sweet and sizzle, toe-curling kisses, swoony book boyfriends, and a happily ever after.

It made me cry, in a good way!

If a book can take you in enough that you laugh out loud, talk to it, and cry; it deserves five stars. Jazzy and Finn’s story is five stars.
Both narrators acted the story in a gripping way that kept me glued. C. J. Mission’s narration for Micah was perfection!

Beautifully written

I love this whole series, of perfectly broken people written so gently, with such love. The way they love and support each other, the wonderful kids - this is a great book, and the narrators are perfect.

Clean, with some kissing

Not my favorite

Out of all three books in this series, this one is my least favorite. I have one hour left and there was nothing going on. The H was pretty much a doormat to his ex. I'm not sure why he didn't stay with her since he did everything she wanted. He said he was protecting his daughter. I think it was all about him. He was also my least favorite H out of this series. He really need to go back to his ex, I think they deserve each other. For the h, she needs to forget about the H and move on to someone else. All in all, this story was sooo boring that I've listened to. There were more kids drama than romance. As a listener, there were no connection with main characters. It was a bunch of drama. This will also be my last stop in this series. I loved these two readers. They did a good job on performance. Too bad that I can't say the same about the story.

If these weren’t on audible..

If I had to read this whole series the old fashioned way, I would probably have to quit my job. It would be sad when my bills come due, but probably worth it. I am so thankful this is on audible and my Rockstar/ Baseball player fantasies can be lived out while I stay gainfully employed. My heart is full.

LOVE!!!

This series is so refreshing. It is so nice to listen to stories without unnecessary language and explicit sex scenes. This series is my first time with this author and I can’t wait to listen to more. The books are a bit pricey but it’s worth it. Highly recommend.
