I've been a Vegetarian for over 25 years and this wonderful book shed light on additional steps that I can take to make the world a better place and enhance my overall quality of life.
I loved it and thought that it is well written and thought – provoking, while at the same time, not disparaging those who “don’t get it” but hopefully enlightening them.
I’d highly recommend reading “The World Peace Diet” and wish that it was recommended reading in nutritional classes and schools throughout.
I’m going to be going Vegan at least 1 – 2 days a week for the rest of the year and start moving in that direction.
Informative, detailed, thought provoking. Makes it clear what you should do next. Recommended to anyone who wants a better understanding of how the releationship between food, our cultural, why we eat whay we eat and what our body really needs.
The readers voice is soothing...I might have fallen asleep if not for the content.

The World Peace Diet was hard to listen to. Yes, there were times when I wanted to cry but I am grateful that I am able to be touched in this way.

I discovered The World Peace Diet in 2012. I had been vegetarian for a year and became vegan while listening to this book. The overall feeling was of coming home at last. I resonated with the ideas Will Tuttle presents, and I was also challenged by perspectives that I had never thought of. It is a thought-provoking and life-changing book.

This book is read by the author, who is not a professional reader. You can sometimes feel it, but I much prefer his sensitive reading to someone who just does the job.

Will Tuttle is so thorough in this book in his topical research and insight. I thought he was going to be too new age for my taste, but I found his spiritual approach to be as palatable as his science and psychology. World Peace Diet gave me hope for the future!
This book is sometimes difficult to listen to because it is graphic in the slaughter of animals, however, the main point is that brutality in any form can cause a multitude and cycle of issues to any person who continues to not see how they're affected by how they treat the earth, animals and themselves.
Mr. Tuttle shows us how to care for ourselves and why violence caused by the food industry can cause people to shut down emotionally and morally, thereby spreading more violence to others.
I wish he was less monotone because the material really needs to be shouted to the world. He is very kind and gentle hearted in his speaking.
There were many moments; and if you're looking to be moved away from eating animals and animal products, prepare yourself in advance because you may have a hard time finding something to eat if you're not already eating a vegetarian/vegan diet. A good place to start is VeganCoach or ChooseVeg.
The answer to the question is: take care of the Earth as if it were your own. Open your eyes to the horror animals face to feed us. Stop paying huge companies who hide this information billions of dollars for food which, in turn, makes us sick and then pay costly medical bills to fix it. They have us... or so they think.
"Tough going but really interesting"
This title is very tough going! It goes in to all the gory details of the meat industry from raising the animals to slaughter and packaging and you will need a strong stomach to get through the descriptions. However this is information everybody needs to know and it would shock anybody in to realising that we need to look after ourselves as well as the rest of the animal population in the world. I recommend this title for anyone looking to get healthy while also trying to help the environment.
