Using personal anecdotes, Limbaugh now reveals the major influences on his life and views, and blasts off on all the leading issues of our day. Nothing escapes his acerbic wit and huggable charm as he proves why he is on the cutting edge of societal evolution and the epitome of morality and virtue. Here he holds forth on such subjects as: Anita Hill, the homeless fraud, the media and many others.
Tackling the hottest topics of the times from Feminazis to Environmentalist Wackos, Rush Limbaugh is at his satirical best - the provocative conservative and the showman who is "documented to be almost always right 97.9% of the time" about The Way Things Ought To Be.

"Rush Limbaugh shows his talent for the spoken-word medium. He is a verbal entertainer who knows how to use the audio format to keep the listener interested." (AudioFile Magazine)
I bought this on audio tape when it first came out, those tapes eventually fell apart and I have looked forward to it's release in the digital format.
This book is the best encapsulation of conservative thought from the Pre Clinton Era, done with vigor, feeling and wit.
Rush brings to the table his wit and wisdom mixed in with a very personal touch. Every minute has you engaged, either in agreement or disagreement, such that you have to think about what might be next. Rush at his best. Enjoy !
The only ones who would not like this audiobook are liberals and Rush-haters who cannot intellectually refute the points which he makes.
As a Democrat turned right by Ronald Reagan, I thank goodness for Rush. He keeps the flame alive. In this book he speaks for Middle America with singular intellect, insight, and clarity. The book is a treasure.
I'm ashamed to admit that I never read the book. I am a huge fan of Rush Limbaugh though.
Everything Rush says is so completely true.
It's him reading his book. No need for someone to interpret what he meant, he knows exactly what he meant and conveys that perfectly.
Don't know, but a film about Rush sounds like a great idea.
Despite being a timeless book, I couldn't help but notice a difference between Rush then and Rush now some twenty or so years later. He's probably better now than then, but some of the youthful exuberance has worn away. The liberals have won so many battles in the past 20 yrs that it's hard to just laugh at them and move on with life.
One thing that Rush talks about in this book is Abortion and it was just as hot then as it is now. I think that in many ways his views on abortion have proven out. There is no reason for conservatives to abandon this subject and give up the fight.
Any left wing wacko probably would not like this audiobook. They couldn't handle the TRUTH!Even though Rush talks about issues at the time of its release,it is still is relevant to todays issues. Its a great listen!
