Publisher's summary

Rush Limbaugh is a way of life for over twelve million avid and devoted listeners. For three hours every day this comic conservative of the airwaves with "talent on loan from God" entertains, provokes and persuades friend sand enemies alike in a no-holds-barred show that is one of the biggest draws in radio history.

Using personal anecdotes, Limbaugh now reveals the major influences on his life and views, and blasts off on all the leading issues of our day. Nothing escapes his acerbic wit and huggable charm as he proves why he is on the cutting edge of societal evolution and the epitome of morality and virtue. Here he holds forth on such subjects as: Anita Hill, the homeless fraud, the media and many others.

Tackling the hottest topics of the times from Feminazis to Environmentalist Wackos, Rush Limbaugh is at his satirical best - the provocative conservative and the showman who is "documented to be almost always right 97.9% of the time" about The Way Things Ought To Be.

Great Auido Book

I love Rush Limbaugh, and have the both the book and audio cassette versions of this. I enjoy this book very much, but am very dissapointed that the Audible version cannot be saved on MP3 format on my cellphone. I'd like to transfer the book to my laptop and even burn it to CD. Since I can't do this I will not purchase any more Audible books. When I've purchased CDs from you I have the songs in MP3 format. I assumed Audible books would be like that as well. No more Audible books for me until I can have them in MP3 format.

As Relevant Today as When It was Written

This book is vitally important today because what Rush always taught were principles. Principles last throughout history. Rush was right, is right, and is missed. It is time for us to pick up the baton from him and run the race to victory lane.

Great read for conservatives!

Loved it, as Limbaugh himself does not give opinions but actually states facts! He does not get emotional and he is not afraid of putting liberals in their place. Yet he does not insult or mock in the slightest bit.

Still relevant today

I miss Rush on the radio, and downloaded the book to hear his voice...i was pleasantly surprised by how so much of it is still true today...he was ahead of his time.

Rush is awesome

Rush makes a good outline of why we have time tested values in our American society.

Rest in Peace

Rush’s words are truly timeless wisdom - even after his passing, his commentaries still ring true, his arguments are still accurate and relevant, and American fears are assuaged by his wit and classic “Don’t be worried, do be vigilant” philosophy. Rest in Peace.

The Great Rush Limbaugh

Too bad Rush isn't with us anymore. Listening to him again brings back so many memories and even though this book was written so many years ago, it's still very relevant and shows Rush's tremendous understanding and intuitive insight into the world around him. What would he make of the state of affairs today that are precisely as he described they would be (or even worse) under Democrat party control. I'm sure he would be disappointed, as many of us are...

The second best political book I've ever read.

I bought this on audio tape when it first came out, those tapes eventually fell apart and I have looked forward to it's release in the digital format.

This book is the best encapsulation of conservative thought from the Pre Clinton Era, done with vigor, feeling and wit.
