Publisher's summary

Critics of President Obama have attacked him as a socialist, an African American radical, and a big-government liberal. But somehow the critics have failed to understand what’s truly driving Barack Obama. Now best-selling author Dinesh D’Souza throws out these misplaced attacks in his new book, The Roots of Obama’s Rage.

D’Souza explains that the reason Obama appears to be working to destroy America from within is found, as Obama himself admits, in The Dreams of My Father: a deeply hostile anticolonialism. Instilled in him by his father, this worldview has led President Obama to resent America and everything we stand for.

Viewing Obama through this anticolonialism prism and drawing evidence from President Obama’s own life and writings, D’Souza masterfully shows how Obama is working to weaken and punish America here and abroad. From enacting crippling financial reforms to setting artificial withdrawal dates in Iraq and Afghanistan, Obama is trying to muzzle the capitalism which he sees as exploiting the weak. Our president, argues D’Souza, is more concerned with being labeled as America the Oppressor than winning the war on terror.

The Roots of Obama’s Rage reveals Obama for who he really is: a man driven by the anticolonial ideology of his father and the first American president to actually seek to reduce America’s strength, influence, and standard of living. Controversial and compelling, The Roots of Obama’s Rage is poised to be the one book that truly defines Obama and his presidency.

Dinesh D’Souza is the best-selling author of several books, including What’s So Great about America, What’s So Great about Christianity, and Life after Death. He has been a White House policy analyst, a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, and a fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He lives in Rancho Santa Fe, California, with his wife Dixie and their daughter Danielle.

Disturbingly Awesome

Would you listen to The Roots of Obama’s Rage again? Why?

Possibly. But only to educate the unknowing. The whole affair is disheartening.

What other book might you compare The Roots of Obama’s Rage to and why?

Hating Whitey by Horowitz.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

Everything. He is easy to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

NO! Tooooo rich. Like trying to eat a whole cheese cake in 1 sitting.

Any additional comments?

Everything makes sense now. The cover that this grossly unqualified person was( and still is) given by the press is stupefying. Hilary should have blown his doors off and left him in the dust. She'd have been better off if she'd have written her current book about that primary rather than this past election.

Very Factual and Enlightning

If you could sum up The Roots of Obama’s Rage in three words, what would they be?

Important, reveling, Interesting

Would you be willing to try another book from Dinesh D’Souza? Why or why not?

Depends on the topic

Well read but not performed

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Hardly the topic to make you either laugh or cry, but it does elicit an emotional response of incredulity or despair depending on your point of view.

Any additional comments?

Interesting facts, based on his own writings, about what motivates the president, which is important to know to understand the direction he is leading the country, and as he has been reelected where the USA society could ultimately end up.

Obama: the great betrayer

If you want to know why America is in decline, read this book.

Obama was a freakishly evil person who lashed out at America and the American military instead of the people who destroyed the nuclear family.

D’Souza again does incredible investigative journalism and a look into who Obama really is: an anti-American anti-colonist.

It was inevitable though to elect someone as cunning and devilish as Obama. When you turn your back on God and embrace sin, it will come back to bite you eventually.

Embrace God and reject sin to heal the USA! 🇺🇸

Eye Opening

This should be a must read for every voter and every American. It explains much of the seemingly irrational behavior and agenda of Obama. We need to know this man that has so much power over all of us and wants to have so much more. Be scared, or be prepared--either way, you need to remove your head from the sand and get informed!

Spot On

Dinesh D'Souza really has something here. There was something more than socialist, I just couldn't not understand this man. It fits and he makes a very convincing case. i can away with a much more comprehensive understanding.

Obama was a Disappointment

Obama had the biggest opportunity and blew it. He couldn't overcome his ego. He is proof that pride is our worst enemy.
