Publisher's summary

The big media have spoken on the question of global warming, and the debate is officially over. "Be afraid, be very afraid", warns Time magazine. But have Al Gore and his environmentalist allies really proven their case? Not even close, says Christopher C. Horner.

In The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming (and Environmentalism), he exposes the shoddy science, plain dishonesty, and hidden political agenda behind the biggest phony environmental scare since, well, since green predictions of catastrophic global cooling in the 1970s.

The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming (and Environmentalism) provides a provocative, entertaining, and well documented exposé of some of the most shamelessly politicized pseudoscience we are likely to see in our relatively cool lifetimes.

This should be required reading

Sober, scientific and rational. This 8s what needs to be taught to the.public and every student. The scientific method and reasoning are still alive and books like this can help get the word out. in addition, the narration is great. Its a real page turner!!

Just be prepared for what you’re getting into

The Politically Incorrect series are great but the authors have seemingly blank checks to talk about any of their opinions so you will read a lot of unrelated extremely opinionated statements that have to be trudged through

A shocking must-listen

Ignore those reviews trashing this book... it meticuliously deconstructs the myths that we've been exposed to over the years on Global Warming (hint... it's not Global and we're no longer warming) and exposes the movement for what it really is... an attempted foot-hold for world governance crafted by the Europeans and hords of mislead/underinformed people over here that'll destroy our vitality, resilience, and ability to make real difference on human suffering.

About Time

I live in Massachusetts, which is the epicenter for all things environmentally-alarmist. Thus, I found Mr. Horner's book a refreshing counterbalance to the Cambridge crowd who will have you believe that "the debate over global warming is over." On the contrary, the debate over global warming is so far from over as to be in its infancy, and as Mr. Horner points out, anyone who will tell you otherwise simply pursues emotion over reason. Like our reviewer below from Apex, North Carolina. He/she has gathered emotion and jumped to the conclusion that Mr. Horner is a shill for the oil companies without applying any reason to the science and multifaceted arguments he presents. Sounds like talking-point character assassination, if you ask me. But then again, it's exactly what to expect from an irrational enviromentalist who thinks the debate is over; they do it all the time, especially to anyone who challenges them. You know, the Catholic Church once thought the debate over the origin of the universe was over, too, and look where that got them. Download this book and listen to it with an open mind. You will find some interesting insights in it. And you may just realize that there's nothing to be worried about: We're simply living within the ebb and flow of a climate which is, was and always will be in a constant state of flux.

About time for some sense!

Great listen and well done. This was easy to listen to even though it is technical. It is about time there is some real figures instead of fear tactics to get us all to become cave men again. It is funny too if you remember years ago when the big scare was Global cooling and then when that didn't fly it went to Global warming. Um, wonder why Gore doesn't debate anyone. I would love to hear this author debate Gore. Good narration also.

An antidote to Global hysteria

Although a bit heavy on sarcasm and somewhat repetitious, I found it a good counterweight to the steady drumbeat of media hyperbole about the cause and effect of global warming.

Point-by-Point Destruction of the Al Gore Story

This book is great and offers the reader awesome content on the "Green" motivation that appears to be more about promoting Socialism and economic totalitarianism than saving the environment.

You will see the origins of cap and trade (Enron), Al Gore's non-scientific education, Grant-Hunger of Big science, and the selective data used to sell theories to the public.

Lastly, you will see how Climate Science is full of non-Scientist posers. You have Noam Chomsky, a sociologist-Linguist, pretending to be a scientist. Everyone knows and Chomsky admits he is a socialist, so big surprise, he is a Climate Science believer!

Excellent

A must read...for those who wonder why the USA Today has a front page story about Global Warming and "Spring coming early this year," while outside there's a blizzard.

Easy to understand and informative. Gives a great perspective on these “green” laws the democrats want to pass. Wealth transfer schemes!

The hypocrisy of the "green" left

In the this PIG book Horner reveals how not only "green" energy alternatives not only makes us poorer, less free and fail to meet the objectives it's supposed to meet.
Also how Kyoto protocols and similar treaties to help reduce climate change and help the environment are only used for population control, fill the pockets of wealthy elites and businesses, and topple the US economy for a much "fairer" world.
Highly recommended if you want to shoot down the hysterical claims of environmentalists.
