Offering a challenging new vision of the future, and insights on how this science can immediately affect our own lives, here is a unique opportunity to hear Lynne McTaggart as she unveils the mysteries, discoveries, and wonder of The Field.

"McTaggart writes well and tells a good story." (Publishers Weekly)
"This is an important book." (Arthur C. Clarke)
I've studied the concepts of the Field now for years, and find that Lynn has come the closest to weaving together all these difficult scientific quantum theories into a coherent whole field of knowledge. It spawned her Intention experiment, and is based on solid science. It takes mystical works from the past and cast them in a new light, making these concepts easy to digest. I'll listen to it more than once because it is useful information for daily life.
If you are a confirmed skeptic of metaphysics this is the book for you!
I’ve read “the Secret” and other accounts of the pure powers of human intention and universal conscious with curiosity. I think we all long to understand more about our place in the universe and our influence, and there are no shortage authors that will sell books about this with no proof.
This book is different, author does detail metaphysical phenomenon beyond the bounds of current science, each topic the author carefully documents with academic sources and verifiable research scientific data.
I highly recommend this book its short and it may give the skeptic in you the evidence you need to open your mind to the wonders of the things we don’t know about the universe and our influence over it.
My wife read the book "The Field" and told me I would enjoy it. I downloaded this recording thinking it was the actual book on tape. Instead, it's Lynne McTaggart giving a 2 hour summary of what's in the book. (I see now that it's categorized as a speech, not an audiobook.)
The recording doesn't sound like she's reading at all, but instead sounds like she is actually talking to you (which is what I love about Tony Robbins tapes). This is a very interesting and informative recording, and as far as I can tell, you get all of the highlight of the book condensed down to two hours.
As for content, McTaggart describes the work of scientists all over the world who have conducted controlled experiments on the ability of your thoughts to influence matter, including machines and diseases. It's almost as if they are discovering the science behind successful prayer or why goals (intention) matter. The studies of spiritual healing done by people who never even meet the sick person, plus the experiments with water memory, are fascinating.
I thought this was the text of the book, but it's just the author talking about the text of the book.
I am a true New Ager...Love listening to spiritual- metaphysical stuff. I am also a Coast to Coast listener.
Really easy listening. It was as if Lynne was next to me having a conversation. I want to listen to her other books. Also it is good to listen to more than once.
This narration (not the real book) opens a very interesting perspective about the "integrated theory of everything" chased by to many authors once and again. Curious minds will love it, until they find that, as usual, the term "scientific" is used. Then you start to get nervous about how scientific are the "simplifications" presented along the book.
Despite this detail, that can be initially forgiven (here no one said this will be scientific text book), you'll find a pleasant but at the same challenging view of a connected word where the human mind is presented to have a role far beyond our common perception.
I enjoyed a lot listening a comprehesive work well preparedand and coherent at its own way that in facts serves well the purposse of getting the reader involved with the topics and wanting more.
An interesting read into the relationship between new and old science. The book looks at how long held scientific ideas have come to perhaps hold back new emerging ideas into quantum physics. Lyn Mctaggart takes a journey with the reader and explores the quantum field.
This may challenge those set in their ideas!
I'm interested in the theory of the Holographic Universe. An interesting story to begin with, but there is little science here. Cherry picking pseudo scientific studies that support the beliefs of the author is not scientific proof of the paranormal. Psychic activity, remote viewing, the power of prayer has never been proven scientifically.
"Not The Actual Book"
It's very interesting but it is not clear that you don't get the whole book, just a very condensed version. I wish I have bought the physical book now.
