Publisher's summary

Why would two women separated by thousands of miles share a common thread involving alien abduction? Both cases are supported by multiple witnesses and have substantial evidence. Both women experienced missing time while driving with a companion and were later taken from their homes. Both have been unwilling participants in ongoing experimental procedures that appear to follow family genetic lines. Both witnesses have given detailed descriptions of the crafts - interior, technology, medical procedures, messages from the visitors, and the types of ET they have encountered, including their society's hierarchical structure. Even more startling, both have independently described finding themselves on identical huge craft within the same time frame.

The Alien Abduction Files finally reveals:

  • The little-known details of alien experimental procedures
  • The theoretical science that can explain alien technology
  • The messages conveyed by the ETs to abduction experiencers
  • The vulnerabilities and benefits of living life as an abduction experiencer
  • The evidence that these phenomena are real

Critic reviews

"The topic of alien abduction is complex and controversial. This book comes closer than others, bringing clarity to the haze of controversy." (Stanton T. Friedman, nuclear physicist, author of Flying Saucers and Science)

Don't buy this book

What would have made The Alien Abduction Files better?

Almost everything was wrong about the book, it was a total failure.

Has The Alien Abduction Files turned you off from other books in this genre?

Definitely!!

How could the performance have been better?

The reader was way too dry ,boring and mechanical.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. The "story" is suppose to be about people being abducted by aliens, but it turns very quickly to a long, slow, very drawn out description of every conceivable little tiny detail possible about the people , history, great grand mother and great grandfather, brother sisters ,then their character, descriptions, then the houses, the neighbors , the weather ,the dog next ; and the way the curtains in a parlor looked twenty years ago. The author obviously is filling space and has nothing to say about the subject but long drawn out descriptions of inconsequential things over and over and over again. Space aliens 10%,BS 90 %.A waste of time.

Not my cup of tea

Would you try another book from Kathleen Marden and Denise Stoner and/or Laural Merlington?

Maybe

What do you think your next listen will be?

Don't know

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

It was kind of tedious, but it might have been less the narration and more the material read.

Did The Alien Abduction Files inspire you to do anything?

No

Any additional comments?

The author is a competent technical writer, but there is no fun in it. When I read or listen to a book, I don't want to have to process stacks of statistics, unless I'm reading a textbook or research paper for work. I don't want to pay to do that on my own time.

Prosaic Review

I'm enjoying the story but if I hear "prosaic explanation" one more time, I'm gonna scream. I'm thrilled for the writer learning a new vocabulary word but don't wear it out on your readers/listeners. I swear it must have been used more than a dozen times. I would probably revisit this book again except there is a prosaic explanation for why I will likely delete it from my library after I finish. My God!! You are a writer!! Learn another way or ways to convey that thought!!! I'm gonna try to tough it out and finish but I get furious with disbelief when it's used and used and used and....

Story great....Narrator ANNOYING

Any additional comments?

This was a very interesting and educational book. I'm very interested in the possibility of aliens visiting Earth so I really enjoyed it. The narrator did a great job of telling it however her voice and her need to put such great emphasis on certain syllables couldn't be more annoying. I almost couldn't wait for the story to end just so I didn't need to listen to her voice any longer. If you're into aliens and alien abduction get the book. You'll be glad you did.

The New Human: Exploring The Alien Experience.

It is important to learn from others experiences. This book does methodically and consistently shows the reader through the the alien abduction cases studied here what to look for when a person goes through such a frightening experience. It is generous in detail, and description of who, what, where, how, and when, as well as before, and after effects in each of the alien abduction cases examined. I would highly recommend reading this book. It will give more clarity and understanding to those that never had an alien abduction experience as well as those that are new to the experience.

Among the best

I've read and listened to dozens and dozens of experiencer/abduction books. This one is up there with the best of them. Highly recommended.

For a former MUFON investigator, this is wonderful

For those of us that have spoken to many witnesses, this helps bring an overall view of the phenomena. The content of the cases in the book agrees with many of my own investigations.

Interesting and irritating

The stories of abduction are interesting. I found the details quite fascinating and recommend this book on that basis, with a caveat.
That being, to enjoy the knowledge augment the content provides, the listener must have capacity to ignore the over use of the word PROSAIC. Indeed, the author opts to use “prosaic“ despite the existence of so very many other ways to express commonplace, ordinary, routine, mundane, conventional, usual, pedestrian. Yes I’m nit-picking yet at the same time being generous given the other grammatical and usage issues throughout this writing.
