Terrific.... another absolutely awesome

Another absolutely awesome second book in the series. The content of this book is essential life knowledge. This series should be mandatorally read by every high school student and any adult past schooling years.

A quick blast of knowledge presented in an easy to digest format. I hope there are many many more books to come.

Another musing in microeconomics

After listening to their first publication I had high expectations for Super Freakonomics. I was pleasantly surprised with their product. This turned out to be another masterpiece of crazy ramblings!

Started out good the last Chapter is a Waste

The book is very good, its starts up very good however the last chapter does not make sense and supports Al Gores mission.

Thoroughly irreverent...and irresistable

There's enough in this book, and its prequel, to offend just about anyone--and yet, the authors seem to have serious angst with...REALTORS!

Awesome!

I love the concepts discussed in the 'Freak' books. Amazing and fun! This is certainly a great way to expand our understanding and perspective.

A must read/ listen!

This is not the book that tells you what to do, but the book that helps you to start thinking. Boosts your desire to think in general and especially outside the box.

Not epic like the first, but a worthy successor.

It's hard to follow up on something like Freakonomics, but Super Freakonomics does a good enough job. In the absence of the earlier work, this book would be an unqualified winner, but when compared, it falls slightly short. I simply found many of the "stories" less freaky than the first. Interesting, but not mind-blowingly so. As for the narrator, Dubner does an outstanding job, especially for somebody who does not do that kind of work for a living. Bottom line: worth reading if you liked the first.

enjoyable and informative

This book is more dramatic and refined than the first one. Very enjoyable. They don't shy away from controversial subject areas. This no doubt hurts their user ratings, but it's a necessary part of doing what they are trying to do. This series is a brilliant introduction to the world of microeconomics for the lay person. Dubner's reading is not polished but grows on you.

Love this book.

Fascinating look at behavioral economics. I could listen to anything written by these guys. Such a variety of seemingly unrelated stories tied together with a cold, clinical analysis of data.

very easy and interesting listen

unfortunately, I had to drive for 10 hours today but thankfully I decided to buy the follow up to Freakonomics. great read, super interesting content.
