Yes, I will listen to it at least 3 or 4 times.
Descriptions of various techniques and strategies
It is a "basic training" of security and patrolling and how to go about security. The book reinforces enthusiasm and the mind set needed for prepping. A good primer. Then get Patriots- A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse by James Rawles. That book is the next level and then some!
The details in this book add to the information you may already know. In the end,.all the experiences, facts, suggestions and ideas will better protect and secure you and your family in any future.
It's just a matter of before your area is devastated by a natural phenomena or something worse. This book is an easy read and will help get your mind in gear.
I love me some audiobooks
This is a very simple, short look into the world of preparedness. This is a great list of fundamentals that everyone should be aware of, if not practice. There are several good podcasts that cover these ideas with about as much detail, and they won't cost you a credit. Actually, you will learn a lot more by simply listening to the author's own podcasts.
I would recommend this book for someone new to the idea of securing themselves and their family. However, this book just barely scratches the surface.
I can't think of anyone who might benefit from the book. It was nothing more than a very high overview.
He is my favorite narrator. He is the only reason that I continued to listen to the book after the first ten minutes.
I would have scraped the whole book and told the authors to put in substantial information.
The book was extremely limited in information. The tactics section was completely worthless. The retreat security parts had minimal value, but did not have nearly enough detail to actually be useful. I would skip the book entirely if I had to do it again.
