Publisher's summary

When Bill O'Reilly interviewed then-Senator Barack Obama during the 2008 Presidential elections, the two had a lively debate about the nation's future.

Since that time, America has changed rapidly - some would even say seismically - and many believe these shifts are doing more than just rocking the political and social climate; they're rocking the American core.

In his latest spirited book, O'Reilly prompts further debate with the president and the American people on the current state of the union. While the changes that took place in America during President Obama's first 18 months in office are dizzying to just think about, their real-life impact on the average American is a helluva lot stronger than that. Tempers have reached the boiling point over the shifts in health care, immigration, national security, energy, and the environment. And then there's the economy.

O'Reilly sorts it all out with his trademark mix of humor and bluster in his most impassioned book to date. This is just the book to guide you through the most important issues of the midterm elections and beyond.

Love it!

Hate it, love it, hate it, it stired strong feelings and it has a way to open a new prespective to what can, may or is going to happen. It is witty and full of o'reilly's sarcasim... LOL!

Every Pinhead in America needs to read this booik

Very informative, thought provoking and the research is quite good regarding historical figures who have made good and bad impacts on America. I would have rated Eisenhower a PARTIAL "Pinhead" for his dealing with Francis Gary Powers and the U-2 incident over Russia. That was the first time I lost faith in my President and in my country when they (IKE) LIED to all Americans and then had to admit his error! O'Rielly is great however and his book is true to form. Wish I had read it earlier. Have read all his "killing" books which he and Dugard continue to impress with their work!

Thought provoking

Would you listen to Pinheads and Patriots again? Why?

No, while interesting the analysis of our sitting President was without depth and lacked the journalistic probing I expect from Mr. O'Reilly.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

In-depth analysis!

What does Bill O'Reilly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His style and wit.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really.

Outstanding!

Bill calls it like he sees it. No spin here. Enjoyed every chapter. Enjoyable to listen to. I always enjoy when the author speaks in his own voice!

Nobody's Perfect - You Decide

If you could sum up Pinheads and Patriots in three words, what would they be?

Thought-provoking, clear, pointed

What does Bill O'Reilly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The nuances of language and the subtleties of intonation and inferred meanings

If you could give Pinheads and Patriots a new subtitle, what would it be?

Nobody's Perfect - You Decide

Any additional comments?

O'Reilly leaves little doubt about how he feels. I can't say I always agree with him, but I also know where he stands on the issues.

Hit It Out Of The Ballpark

Whenever Bill reads his own books, he becomes an Irish Fable Gnome full of all the Irish blood and humor in telling his tales. This book falls into a category to where it is impossible not to enjoy. I hope Bill rethinks this notion in letting other commentators read his books.
This is a hodgepodge type of book where Bill takes aim at politicians and celebrators alike and agreed with him most of the time especially so, with Marylyn Monroe and Gen. Patton. Bill is streetwise and this adds dimensions to stories that I really adore, and facts that I did not know.
He is the kind of guy you wish you knew personally only because of his humanity and the Holy Spirit that surely shines bright from within a Boston kid years ago in another place, another time, and as the world changes, another life itself.

O'Reilly as usual

This is a good read and fun. I did not get any great revelations or super new knowledge from this, but the book was a quick read and held my interest.

I John whitney am the average person

Is very hard, to know what's really happening. There's the far right and far left, but after listening to your book I realize that you are independent, So I enjoy listening to you because I trust you. I believe you give the most levelheaded View on what's really going on in the world/America. Thank you
