great book...not so great narrator

Like all Jim Marrs books. this one was awesome. So informative and well written. Gives me plenty to contemplate and reflect on. I very much enjoy ancient history and especially ancient history that we aren't taught in school. The book was 5 stars for me...however the narrator was distracting to say the least. I think that to read a book like this the narrator should be somewhat knowledgeable to the subject matter. This narrator did not seem to be and mispronounced words and names through the entire book. It was also very distracting and annoying that he gave a mexican or English accent to the quotes throughout the book. I would love to listen to this again with a different narrator

Thought provoking

The subject is well researched, with references provided. The narration is excellent. I found this book both informative and unsettling wakeup call.

A MUST READ!!

I loved this whole book wish you could have it to follow along during the reading. I’d recommend EVERYONE read this book. It’s time to wake up to our full potential as human beings, and our human spirit.

best and most controversial book I've ever had the pleasure of reading. now on to the next..

Good story, bad narration

I can never understand how someone can agree to read a book so many will end up listening to without doing ANY research on how to pronounce common names in this genre! David Icke is quoted many times in this book, MANY!! The narrator calls him Icke as in Pick when it's Icke as in Pike. That is very distracting. The book itself is great. This is not the only book I've listened to where the narrator has no clue how to pronounce the names in the book. I would think that would be a high priority if you're going to read a book for money, but I'm obviously wrong on a lot of them

Would you consider the audio edition of Our Occulted History to be better than the print version?

This is a no-brainer for me because I don't have the time or good eyes to READ a book any more.

What about Dave Courvoisier’s performance did you like?

The narrater did a decent job, but I agree with other reviewers that the accents were a bit distracting. Having said that, I can see why he did it, because the way the author was including so much research material, it would have been difficult to distinguish between what THEY were saying vs what HE was saying. The accented narration made it clearer who was talking.

I've been seeing more and more lately that has convinced me that our planet, at the very least, has had extraterrestrial visitors in the past. This book does a great job of bringing a huge amount of disparate evidence together to make that case even more convincing! Mr. Marrs, as always, does meticulous research, and makes this reality pretty hard to ignore. Loved the book!

Essential reading, poor narrator

You need to regularly read this book. In order to understand the corruption and dysfunction of this world, and our true history, carefully and regularly listen to this paramount work.

Excellent listen!

This book does not offer an objective view of the origins of life. The author is obviously enamored by the prospect of aliens procreating with humans. There are much more plausible arguments that both history and science actually support. The last half of the book and the authors take on the current geopolitical situation and his observations on modern society being controlled by the social engineers is right on. Great read!
