Understanding Obama

The American people have decided to vote with emotions instead of researching who the candidates are how hey could possibly bring the US to its knees. Obama has done this. He has divided families and the public against each other. This book further explains, as D’Souza’s “Understanding Obama Rage” try’s to explain. I suggest you read both books to form your own conclusions.

now it makes sense

This book gave me a valuable insight into Obama's presidency that had eluded me. The book is well researched and pulls from Obsma's speeches and writings to document the reasons his philosophy and actions. It truly is a must-read for all Americans.

Yes I have done this already. D'Souza logically argues his points and often quotes from Obama to prove his points.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

If Obama is such a "nice guy" why does not he help HIS brother George Obama? George is family!!! Yet, Obama wants everyone to help others....the rules seem NOT to to apply to this President. Obama went to one of the most expensive and elite private schools in Hawaii....I went to public school.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

My fear for my grandchildren's future

wish every American would listen to Dinesh D'souza. His theories and predictions are coming true today. This history of Obama and his agenda is continuing with Biden in power. A must read.

A must read for all young voters in 2021!

This book provides great insight to America’s destiny from 2021-2024. I urge all young Americans that voted in this last election to educate yourself on who the person really is that you are voting for. Politics are by nature corrupt, money helps cover the corruption. As we see time and time again throughout history leaders that seek to rule by executive order through dictatorship destroy countries. America was built on free Capitalism, and it is the reason we are so great. Leaders seeking to destroy that free Capitalism while living a life of wealth and luxury as the Obamas did believe they are exempt from the same rules of society. Promises made on the campaign trail are soon forgotten as they forge forward with their personal objectives. These people are unfit for America today, they are not leaders but pawns that carry out the desires of those that paid to get them elected. They have no power or control, they signed deals with the devil that now have come due or risk their demise. Thus America and American citizens are the trade off. Before you vote in the next election educate yourself on all of the candidates. Do not allow the media to influence your mind or vote. There is truthful information out there, read it, listen to it, speak to elders that you trust to get the truth. Young voters of today, you are tomorrow’s promise, you can make a difference. Do you want a better life or a life of poverty? Look at Greece and Brazil, that is where America is headed. You can stop the socialist movement and rekindle the free capitalism spirit that America was built on. It’s up to you!

Really great book packed with information. Even though it didn't get enough traction to achieve the ending outlined warning it still is a fantastic book to read back on. This was my first Dinesh D'Souza book but I am a fan and will be reading more!

Eye-opening, well-documented, easy listening, kept my attention, linked his ideas well, prophetical of Obama's next moves because he understands his motives, helps us understand Obama's decisions and actions.

Romney and Ryan should both read and develop strategy from this book.

If you could sum up Obama’s America in three words, what would they be?

Very Insightful

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

There seems to be a common thread that runs thru all of Obama's Childhood ... a feeling of resentment. He resents anyone who gets ahead, no matter what the reason for that success is, be it hard work or born into it. He uses the poor and downtrodden to take from the successful, "they don't deserve it". From D'Souza's research we see a person that has a lot of psychological problems. Being left behind by both parents, we see a boy with very low asteam, who attempts to make up for it with a super inflated ego. Hence, he is very Anti-success, Anti-personal responsibility, Anti-rich, Anti-"what America stands for and praises".

What about David Cochran Heath’s performance did you like?

I felt it was good, but it would have been better if the author had done the reading.

Every word was clearly spoken so there was no problem understanding

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

The portrait which Obama's mother presented to him of his absent father, which painted a picture of a wonderful, highly intelligent and capable person. The problem is that he was not this person at all, but Obama tries to emulate the picture she painted for him. He was a devoted anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist, which was also her view.

Any additional comments?

If you want to understand why President Obama does what he does, which at times are hard to understand in the context of his position as President of the United States, this book is a true guide to seeing the truth of who he is and what he intends for us, and it is not a pretty picture for the United States. It explains his willingness to take us deeply into debt and not worry about the consequences for our security and longevity. I urge you to read it.
