Publisher's Summary

Everything is bigger in Texas - especially crime. Two of America's best crime writers, Ron Franscell and Gregg Olsen, team up to tell the stories of a serial killer who slaughtered more people than any other psychopath of his day without ever being noticed; two of America's most shocking mass murders and how their grim echoes still linger today; and a mother so desperate for attention that she killed one of her children and repeatedly tried to suffocate the other.

    "Short True Crime Stories"
What did you like best about Nightmare at Noon: Notorious Texas? What did you like least?

The book shared some true crime that I had not heard before but being someone who listens to a lot of True Crime it didn't really hold my interest.

What was most disappointing about Ron Franscell and Gregg Olsen ’s story?

Nothing disappointing if you want to read about a couple of cases but if you want to hear the MEAT of some of the accounts this is not the book for you.

What three words best describe Kevin Pierce’s performance?

Narration was good for the book.

    "Well Done True Crime Tales"

This collection is a captivating look at some of the more notorious crimes out of Texas. I found it chilling, entertaining, and memorable with excellent narration. Highly recommend to true crime fans.
