Publisher's Summary

This audiobook is also available in English as Dying to Cross.

    "Very Sad"

Jorge Ramos is an amazing journalist. I applaud him for taking on this horrible event that happened May 2003. His book tells a story that unfortunately is all too common and happens very often. Its a sad story about hard working immigrants and the lengths they will go and the danger they risk to search for a better future for them and their families. Thank you audible for making this available in both english and spanish.

    "Well-written documentary"

I live in Houston TX, and I remember the stories of the deaths of the illegal aliens in the airtight van of an 18-wheeler. Ramos did a good job of investigating and writing this story. The reader did a good job of speaking clearly enough that I (a high school Spanish teacher) could understand. I listened to the whole story twice.
