Publisher's summary

Geert Wilders is a hunted man. He lives in a heavily protected safe house that is bombproof and bulletproof. Why? Because Geert Wilders is marked for death by Islamic extremists. In his new book, Marked for Death, Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders tells his never-before-published story about the jihad being waged against him—and the West. Revealing how he has been censored, bullied, threatened, and even banished from the UK for politically opposing Islam and for telling the truth about its violent history and nature, Wilders explains why what has happened to him is happening all across the West—and why Americans need to stop the infiltration of radical Islam now. Marked for Death is an eye-opening account of a man who has sacrificed life as he knew it to tell the truth about radical Islam.

Geert Wilders is a politician and leader of the Party for Freedom, the third-largest political party in the Netherlands. He is also known as an outspoken opponent of Islam. His controversial film about his views on Islam, Fitna, received international attention and resulted in his being banned from the UK during part of 2009. That year, the Amsterdam Court of Appeal ordered his prosecution for “incitement to hatred and discrimination.” On June 23, 2011, he was acquitted of the charges.

Required reading for all free thinkers

Before reading/listening to Mr. Wilder's book, I knew of him only as the U.S. media portrayed him: an extreme-right, cult of personality, a one trick pony. I couldn't have been more wrong. This book is an intelligent, thoughtful, and honest statement in opposition to a modern social/spiritual plague. Islam and the misguided fear and political correctness that shield it in the West needs to be confronted. I commend Mr. Wilders for bravely and eloquently doing just that. This book is a top 10 read for me!

Courage to tell the truth

Mr Wilders has it right about Islam. Westerners need only read the Koran for themselves, to see that he has portrayed Islam accurately. Those who deny that violence is inherent to Islam expose their own ignorance, and lack the courage displayed by Mr. Wilders.

On the mark

Having worked and lived in the Muslim world for over ten years I have seen and experienced many of the things laid out in this book. You may love or hate Gerry Wilders, but reading this book will help you understand why he holds the positions he holds. He did a great job summarizing his point of view, etc...

Truth can be ugly... But necessary.

Excellent book explaining what the world is up against. There's nothing wrong with loving your own country and culture and not wanting it overtaken. Wilders does an excellent job explaining how we must resist.
