Moved by the erosion of personal liberty in the United States, Naomi Wolf looks to history (both recent and less recent) for examples of people who have been willing to risk their lives for liberation. Being American is a state of mind, she says; therefore, fighting for fundamental values has no national boundaries. Karen White makes the perfect choice in her narration, choosing to be conversational rather than authoritative, a tone that would make this audiobook accessible only to listeners who agree with Wolf at the outset. As it is, Wolf's points about personal ownership of the Constitution and her specific suggestions for Americans to do more than electronically rant, which are followed up with examples of people doing these kinds of things, generate considerable thought.
In Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries, best-selling author Naomi Wolf illustrates the breathtaking changes that can take place when ordinary citizens engage in the democratic system the way the founders intended and tells you how to use that system, right now, to change your life, your community, and ultimately the nation.

"Blasting away myths is one of Ms. Wolf 's great strengths; she firebombs with knowledge and authority." (The New York Times Book Review)
"Wolf 's prose surprises with humor, intimacy, and, of all things, tenderness." (Entertainment Weekly)
This audiobook is full of good information. However, I prefer the documentary "the End of America." It's on Netflix or you can see it free on youtube. The interviews, news clips, and live footage helps bring it all to life. But the audiobook is pretty good.
