It measures policy not by whether it is the optimum solution but by the two-part test of whether it would make a meaningful contribution to an environmental problem and whether it is achievable politically. Application of the Center Green approach moves us away from some of the harmful orthodoxies of mainstream environmentalism and results in practical and actionable positions on climate change, energy policy, and other crucial issues. This is how we get to Green.

long but pertinent

sometimes dry but widely applicable to most everyone I would imagine with a simple message of care

Every single environmentalist needs to read this eye-opener book.

If there is any hope for reinvigorating the green movement in this country, this books provides the roadmap. I am an environmental hydrogeologist and found this book one of the most inspiring and strongly recommend to my green cohorts to read/listen to.

What on earth...

This book just picks and chooses random synonyms to say the most simple phrases. It doesn't make understanding the complicated issues any easier or on a deeper level. In fact, it makes it even harder to understand.
