Publisher's summary

The demon is a mob, and the mob is demonic. The Democratic Party activates mobs, depends on mobs, coddles mobs, publicizes and celebrate mobs - it is the mob.

Sweeping in its scope and relentless in its argument, Demonic explains the peculiarities of liberals as standard groupthink behavior. To understand mobs is to understand liberals.

Terrific!

If you like Ann Coulter (and liberals, not so much), you'll love this book. Her razor sharp writing is absolutely riveting. I only regret not having bought the unabridged version, which had a different woman reading it. The less than stellar reviews of the other reader, along with the fact that Ann Coulter herself reads this abridged version is what ultimately influenced my decsion. I highly recommend this book, and expect I'll listen to it multiple times.

Awesome!

Ann proves again why she is the master of the entertaining and informative political insight.

I'd give 10 star's if I could!

A unique approach, very thought-provoking.

I've read many conservative books. Most have very similar approaches (not bad, just similar). This is the case with books of other perspective, too.
This book is different, even from Colter's previous books. Her interpretation of Gustave Le Bon's "The Crowd" in relation to the modus operandi of both the Left and Right is quite unique and eerily accurate.
This is not just another conservative book. This is an important book and is as thought-provoking as Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny."
Highly recommend.

Prophetic... isn't it?

Buy the version with Coulter as the narrator.
Then buy the book to do the research.
Then listen to this a few times when you're in the car ( I listened to it 3 times).
Yeah....despite the imperfections of her book (what book is perfect? In what alternate reality do critics live in? ) she's right on target. Don't expect this one to be in the OWS library...
I only wish she didn't name it "Demonic". Scared the less hardy souls among us away...and they need to hear some of the points she's making...

Required reading for anyone who follows politics

This book puts the current political climate into thoughtful historical perspective, without being boring or preachy. Whether you agree with Coulter or not, she makes some very valid points that thinking people should take into consideration.

Next time read the unabridged version

What did you love best about Demonic?

Excellent. I wish that I had purchased the unabridged version, but I wanted to hear Ann read it. In any case I would highly recommend it to anyone; conservatives would enjoy it but the left may want to consider if this is truely what/who they want to be.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

No one thing, really just her overall level of scholarship and reasoning: Brilliant!

Coulter does it again

Like her other single word titles (Treason, Slander and Godless) this one does not disappoint. Ann methodically shreds what Sowell calls the "unconstrained" view and offers up its gory history in fair detail. Perfect timing too as we can watch the OWS and the OBA reveal these traits in realtime. Ann is truly a national treasure.

Coulter at her best

I have read several of Ann Coulter's works and this is among the best. "Demonic" is very funny and hits on many important ideas, from some fresh angles.

I only have two criticisms:

(1) the term "liberals" should not be used to describe "socialists" but rather the term "liberals" should be taken back by capitalists

(2) it is bizarre that Ms. Coulter professes that a large part of society does not have the "capacity of reason" (which is true) but at the same time thinks that these people should not have the right to have abortions when they accidentally get pregnant

still relevant book for today's politics

this made me a hard book for liberals to listen to . it's not easy learning you are part of the mob and you are doing more harm then good when you think you are doing good . Ann Coulter is in a league of her own. her wit and sarcasm to explain very dire things is impressive. her throw knowledge of History and of the true story behind political issues and the ability to lay them out for you to understand is impressive
