Publisher's summary

The demon is a mob, and the mob is demonic. The Democratic Party activates mobs, depends on mobs, coddles mobs, publicizes and celebrate mobs - it is the mob.

Sweeping in its scope and relentless in its argument, Demonic explains the peculiarities of liberals as standard groupthink behavior. To understand mobs is to understand liberals.

Mobs and Revolutions

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, great history as well as exampled arguments

What was one of the most memorable moments of Demonic?

What the french revolution was really about and just how ridiculous it really was

Did Elizabeth White do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

yes

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Mobs are so easily led

Any additional comments?

eye-opening. Liberals need to read it to understand how simply they are being led

OUTSTANDING AS USUSAL

Well researched and delivered. Details matter in such weighty issues as freedom, liberty, and honesty. Clever and witty as well.

Dont buy this version

The narrator is awful. Stick with Ann Coulter. Stilted no sense of the subject matter.

Can't get past the AWFUL Narrator

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Unfortunately I didn't sample the narration before buying, I was expecting Coulter to be the narrator. After suffering through less than 5 minutes - I . can . NOT . listen . to . this. I guess I just wasted a credit - I'm warning you not to do the same. This narrator is totally WRONG for a Coulter book.

Would you ever listen to anything by Ann Coulter again?

Yes, if Coulter narrated it.

Would you be willing to try another one of Elizabeth White’s performances?

I doubt it.

What character would you cut from Demonic?

Didn't get that far, can't listen to it.

Any additional comments?

I wish there was some sort of refund or return policy. Even though I prefer unabridged, I'd go for the abridged version with Coulter narrating.

Extreme mismatch between narrator and material

What disappointed you about Demonic?

I cannot get past the first chapter of this version of the audiobook. I'm not sure why someone chose this narrator for this book but it's almost like having Mr. Rogers narrate General MacArthur's, "MacArthur on War." Elizabeth White has a soft, sweet speaking voice and inserts so many gentle pauses, that almost had to claw the earbuds out of my ear (sorry, Ms. White). The mismatch between the narrator and the subject matter is too great. I'm going back for the version that Ann Coulter herself reads, even if it is the abridged version.

Would you be willing to try another one of Elizabeth White’s performances?

Not for a political commentary. Maybe something else.

More Facts Fewer Attacks Please

Ms. Coulter's books are usually funny and silly snipes at the Liberals, but, for some reason, this one was hard to enjoy. She seems lost in the ether somewhere. She goes on a four hour tirade about demonic Liberals, that you expect, but then she spends two hours on the history of the French Revolution, defending the French Monarchy. Then she goes back to her attack on the Liberals. Perhaps a better editing job could have organized this better.
After listening to all of her books, and enjoying them, this one falls flat. She misses too many details, uses too much hyperbole, and her arguments do not jibe with reality. Usually, she is good for some one liners or crafty reframing, but she rehashes way too many arguments from her previous books and writings.
I would give this one a pass, but I still look forward to the next book. More details/facts and less hyperbole and personal attacks.

Horrible Narration

I could NOT finish this because the narration was terrible. Ann Coulter works hard to put together well researched books and I was looking forward to this. She did a great job herself narrating "Adios America", but this narration was irritating. So bad, it seemed like a sabotage effort.
