Publisher's summary

In Day of Recokoning, the author explicates the current existential crisis in the United States. President Bush's conversion to an ideology of "democratism" after 9/11, Buchanan says, has led the country to the edge of strategic disaster while creating fierce divisions among Americans.

Sound reasoning

Critics often call Buchanan a polemic but if you listen to what he’s actually positing he’s placing his countrymen ahead of others nations which considering the state of the US is a long time coming. Many reasonable people would like to see his policies enacted.

A Sure Enough "Eye Opener"!

I normally don't agree with the conservative, right wing extremist Pat Buchanan on much, but in this book, I do have to say that he's "hitting the nail on the head" in depicting our coming "Day of Reckoning" for the United States of America.

I am becoming more and more concerned of the direction that we are going in our country, so books like Buchanan;s can help us with the issues and ongoing dialog on being pro-active about how things are going.

I highly recommend this book!!!

Scary

A frightening and pessimistic depiction of the eventual collapse of American society. Backed by a combination of facts and opinions, the conclusions reached are a scare tactic incentive for America to change its essence as free and compassionate society, in order to survive.

Good

This book was OK but really just another far right wing opinion.
