Is it the subject matter for poor reviews?

I find this book very interacting, matter of factly, and the inevitable part of our society. I feel, for security reasons of my own, to keep my opinion private. It's a sad story in the U.S. If parents weren't so puritanical and open to the fact that their teenager are sexual beings as well.,.,,, yes it's difficult as a parent to see your lil one having sexual relations. However, being or having been raised in Europe- where teen pregnancy etc, it's really no is issue. Why? Because parents rather have their teenagers be "informed " about sexuality and not swept under the rug, the outcome of unprotected sex (HIV more serious than a child in my humble opinion) My mom took me to doc and I took the pill very young but when sexual active. Same with my girls. Prevention is always better than dealing with a pregnancy. I'm pro choice for others but i- could never abort my baby. No matter where scientists determine life begins. My biggest disgusting thing I've encountered here is abortion past 12 weeks. Isn't that murder, delivering a potential livable baby? I can't wrap my head around this....., Sorry change that, inform and TALK to your kids, allow them protection.......And the war is almost won...... Mmmmm Soma my unwanted kids are living in US, mom collecting governmental help, but doesn't care about her life she brought into the worldy.its more complex than that. Please fix the system!!!!!!!! Thank you.

This is a work of fiction in bad taste

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Any additional comments?

The publishers summary presents this book as a balanced view on the question of abortion. It portends to present facts but these facts are unsupported. When a fact that is pro-choice is presented it is quickly ridiculed by the author. As a woman listening to this book, I just kept waiting to be told to get back in the kitchen and keep quiet. Pretty disgusting overall.
