Publisher's summary

Life is precarious in post-apocalyptic America, threatened by the toxic environment and the return to savagery. Born into this bleak reality, Ryan Cawdor roams the hell trails of Deathlands with his band of warrior survivalists. All they know is to endure and seize whatever chance they get for a better tomorrow.

In the sands of California's Guadalupe desert, Ryan and companions fear that they have crossed time lines when they stumble upon a settlement straight out of fabled Egypt. What they find is a rebellion against an aspiring god-king who wants to enslave them. To overcome an enemy with unusual powers, Ryan must bide his time, though his every instinct is to strike out in rage.

In the Deathlands, no one has met the ultimate foe....

Performed by Richard Rohan, James Lewis, Colleen Delany, Delores King Williams, Terence Aselford, Nanette Savard, Jeff Baker, Mort Shelby, Casie Platt, Lilly David, Scott McCormick, MB Van Dorn, Thomas Penny, Tom Simpson, Dylan Lynch, Michael Glenn, Ken Jackson.

Pretty good. But, missed opportunity.

Warning, spoilers ahead:

It was a decent story. I'm ready for Dean to grow up enough to change his irritating voice.
There was an opportunity to end the story with them main villain going on and becoming a bigger part of the Outsiders series on the future. Maybe they will with his daughter, but doubtful. I haven't finished Outsiders past book 1. I need to finish this series first or I lose interest.
