I am having more trouble with audible the past two months than I have had in the 7 years I've been subscribing. Now I can't download but only podcast?
What's going on there?
Retired reading, English, & math teacher. Survivor of rear-ending on Channel 5 bridge in Florida Keys that resulted in 10 day coma&rehab,
Today had change that only allowed me to podcast and not download whole WSJ for day. That means I cannot back up a 20 seconds (or whatever I set) and relisten to a part.
Having been told I could receive the WSJ as a part of my membership, I was disappointed when audible made the unnanounced change to the service so that only subscribers who paid extra could stream the content. Downloading is less convenient for a morning newspaper. Today, audible seems to have a technical glitch that prevents downloading too.
This is part of a downtrend in service I've noticed at audible in the last couple of months. I hope it doesn't continue to slide...
After several years of membership Audible has fialded to regularly deliver this product. Regularly I email them asking for a solution and each time a delayed response is offered.
I have asked for better service and informed Audible I would express my concerns online.
Same problem with no download link. I tried "View All Episodes" and the download link showed up. It might be a work around until Audible fixes it.
Last two week are worst service in 10 years of subscribing to WSJ on Audible. July 28 Audible Air stops working and I can not download WSJ to Window Mobile device. Audbile Customer says problem with conversion to Amazon and no ETA for fix. Stuck downloading to desktop and transfering to Window Mobile Device. Today 8/10/10 can not downlaod to desktop. Audbile customer service says they know and working to fix by afternoon. Asked for update on Audible Air - still no ETA for fix. Now after 5:00 PM CDT and still can't download to desktop PC. If they ever get download fixed I will use my credits to download a few auidobooks then cancel Gold Membership. I'm not going to give them 14.95 a month for this BS.
