Great man and demonstrably great leadership

I bought this book to see what went on behind the scenes of the Trump administration. Mr Pompeo gave us that, but more importantly he show us his love of God, family and country in that order. I respected him and his work before and now I admire him as well.

A recounting of a political perspective

Mr Pompeo's book is his account of the events from his perspective and I found it revealing, both positive and negative. His "bona fides" are impressive from USMA cadet, officer, politician, Congressman, CIA director, and SecState, I enjoyed the book and respect his contributions and willingness to serve.

Great Leader and Great Story

Mike Pompeo shares a great story about the many threats to our great Country. He is truly a leader and a Team USA First player and his Christian beliefs are much appreciated in a growing evil world.

Men in striped pants

Mike does a great job of highlighting America First. The most deserving of credit in the Trump administration, Mike highlights how he and most of those in the CIA and State Dept led from the front. The careerist men in striped pants did what they could to slow down the train but achievements in stamping out terror, calling the ccp what is, and putting a break on the evil in the world are achievements in and of themselves. I’m still waiting for Mike, Jared and the Donald to get their Nobel for the Abraham accords. Mike is the most consequential Secty since James Baker.

This is a well written and thought-out book. It is read professionally as well.

I'm an open-minded centrist independent libertarian whose family has provided patriots to defend the USA in every generation under every president since the revolution through today with both a son and daughter who have served until recently. There hasn't been a conflict missed.
We've lived in a few countries that were covered in this book. Not much has changed because of our internal bickering.
