A much-needed teaching

This was a short book but I learned a lot about spiritual authority. It focused on what we shouldn’t be doing. While JPJ did address the spiritual authority that we do have, I felt the time spent in that area was a little too brief and could’ve been explored further, or maybe just reiterated in different ways so that it could be better retained.

The audio sounded like a recording of a recording. It was probably recorded from a book on CD.

I think this is the first book I’ve read on spiritual warfare so for me, it was definitely worth the listen.

Needed knowledge

Much needed knowledge to those who call Jesus Christ their “LORD AND SAVIORS” using the word of God and others past sins and shortcomings to help prevent you from making the same mistakes.

I’d rank this #1 on books in regards to spiritual warfare. I think the voice reading needs to be redone and updated though.

Increasingly practical

Enjoyed this book. I like that scripture references were given throughout to underpin what was said. I liked the later chapters better because they were very practical. But I guess the earlier chapters were necessary for set up.

Must read for every Christian

A must read for every Christian. BUT particularly every new Christian. Get off on the right foot in your prayer life. Very valuable instruction. Love the stories and testimonials. Very applicable. Loaded with scripture to back his teaching.

Short and to the point

Overall, this book is a wonderful staple in our church community, and I see why. It is clear on how to lift up the higher authority (Jesus) and to operate properly in spiritual warfare. This audiobook is a powerful and intentional tool.

With it being less than a 3 hour read at 1.25 speed, it was a quick read that I will likely read multiple times during this year and my lifetime. John Paul Jackson took a topic that many try to explain and made it simple on how to operate God’s way in spiritual warfare.

The reader was engaging and not monotonous.

Testimony

If you pray, you should have this book. Intercession prayer folks especially. I had a hunch about the topic but the author beautifully articulates from scripture what our authority is and is not.

Great book for any one who would like to resist the evil, submit to God and want the enemy to flee from you. Learn the principles and rules of combat. This book is a survival kit for the christian soldier.
