I CAN NOT BELIEVE

I am a big James Patterson fan, reading or listening to all his books. I can not believe he wrote this book. It is so bad. The whole books was so annoying. I could only listen in short spurts then I would switch to another book. The only reason I kept going back was I hoped it would get better.

Leave it alone! Wait for the next!

I have been hungry for a new James Patterson as Audible does not permit most of his new titles to be sold to customers living in Japan. I bought this one as fast as my fingers could hit the keys. Should have read the reviews! It is depressing and dark! Why did one of my favorite authors permit his name to be put on this? Leave it alone! Not even worthy of one star. Why are we not permitted to give negative ratings?

Don't bother!

Don't waste your time or money on this book. If James Patterson was not already a known author, it would never have found a publisher. Slow, rambling, far-fetched with an ending that says "thank goodness is over". While we've loved Patterson's early books, my husband gave up on this after 3 chapters, I struggled to the end, with the hope that--being Patterson--Surely it would get better. It did not!

A true tale of suspence!

James Patterson has been well known for years as a best-selling author. His works have been number one many times over. The same is true of his latest masterpiece"You've Been Warned!" Patterson's style and intricate attention to detail are what make "You've Been Warned" not only yet another number one hit, but also the ease with which the reader can empathize with main character Kristin Burns. This book has been expertly crafted and shows the many sides of one character in various stages. And in the end, you keep wanting to know more about the character, more than you have already learned throughout this psychological maze of the mind andreal world similarly.

You need to be warned.....

I read the reviews after...wish I would have done it first....main character not very sympathetic, hard to root for her. Narrator reads like a bad actress...not a typical James Patterson book.

Terrible! I usually thoroughly enjoy James Patterson books. Save your money! Do not buy this one

Disappointed!

I always look forward to reading a James Patterson book, but I think that the books that he writes all by himself are the best, and I have read or listened to all of his books. This one was a definite disappointment. Frankly, I couldn't wait for it to end. The main character is so unlikeable that you really don't care what happens to her. There wasn't much of a story, either. This is 6 hours of dribble that you should avoid. I'm giving it one star, but it really doesn't deserve that.
