Publisher's summary

At 34, Internet entrepreneur Ryan Perry seemed to have the world in his pocket - until the first troubling symptoms appeared out of nowhere. Within days, he's diagnosed with incurable cardiomyopathy and finds himself on the waiting list for a heart transplant. It's his only hope, and it's dwindling fast. Ryan is about to lose it all...his health, his girlfriend Samantha, and his life.

One year later, Ryan has never felt better. Business is good and he hopes to renew his relationship with Samantha. Then the unmarked gifts begin to appear: a box of Valentine candy hearts, a heart pendant. Most disturbing of all, a graphic heart surgery video and the chilling message: Your heart belongs to me.

In a heartbeat, the medical miracle that gave Ryan a second chance at life is about to become a curse worse than death. For Ryan is being stalked by a mysterious woman who feels entitled to everything he has. She's the spitting image of the 26-year-old donor of the heart beating steadily in Ryan's own chest. And she's come to take it back.

Uncharacteristiclly boring for a Dean Koontz book

We are big Dean Koontz fans. This book was not the typical awesome Dean Koontz thriller. It was too slow and took forever to get interesting. I never fall asleep listening to books on tape and I fell asleep twice during this one. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this book.

Not classic Koontz

I haven't read the rest of the reviews, so if this is redundant, then I apologize. It seems for a while to be an homage to Poe and then when he gets past that it just gets sappy. The only reason I even bothered finishing it is because it is Koontz. He almost never disappoints. Almost. This is his most feeble effort ever. Not recommended.

Terrible

A truly terrible audiobook. I am glad I didn't pay for it. Bad writing, bad plot, bad narration. This was an amazing waste of my time. I understand why it was offered at a discount rate....

Your Heart Belongs to Me

Simply awful. I don't know who wrote this tripe, but certainly not one of my favorite authors. The real pity here is the fact that many aspects of the plot were set-ups for (what could've been) some really far out, interesting stuff.... the kind of things you'd expect from Koontz. Very disappointing.

I loved it: a five star for sure

Your Heart Belongs to Me was so scary, that I couldn't listen as I was going to sleep. The ending came as a real surprise, and there was a "dirty little secret" revealed, which most people don't know about.
I will be reading more by Koontz.

it seems to skip and repeat alot of sentences. stops or fades, get the feeling someone was really trying to make a bad recording.
