Another great read!

I love the way the books are set up with character development in the first half and action and follow through in the second half. I would love to have J.D. Robb's mind.

I can't understand why anyone doesn't like Susan Eriksen's narration. She makes all of the characters come alive. She brings a visual picture to the words that are written. Susan is a fabulous narrator.

A very good who done it book

There are many suspects in the murder of an actor on stage - he was a despicable person. My favorites parts of the book, however, were the building of the characters of Peabody, McNabb and Troy Trueheart. Those three are my favorites characters. In this book the Peabody and McNabb romance builds. Eve is not quite as hateful as usual - she does display a few good points in her personality. Roark is leaning to manage her better and does not put up with all of her drama and snakiness. As usual, Ericksen is amazing in her performance of all the characters. she is the BEST.

The book was awesome as always
I love this series. But the audio kept skipping all over the place, making it very difficult to enjoy.

Christie done in the future

Well done story integrating Agatha Christie’s play, Witness for the Prosecution, and the murder of an actor on stage.
Good rebound from Loyalty in Death, which is not one of my faves, even if it has a few memorable moments.
My favorites in this one are the female bookie with the little dog; and Eve dragging home her old computer from work to murder it, but Roarke co-opting it to train Jamie.
Ericksen does a great job of narration.
Recommend.

Riveting

Eve Dallas out for a night at the theater with her gorgeous hunk of a husband, Roarke, witness a murder right before their eyes. The victim, although a well known and highly respected actor, turns out to be a nasty piece of work. Still, as ever, Eve must stand for the dead. To solve this one, she must render a hard, vicious blow to the life, mind and body of an innocent, unassuming young actress. A blow that may nearly devastate her own self. J D Robb never disappoints and delivers another edge-of-your-seat winner.

Dramatic Crime!

The plot for this one was twisty turny, but I love the way it all came together in the end!
