Awesome read (listen?)
Lots of action and several story lines that are all brought together and resolved expertly. Pritchard does a great job switching from story-line to story-line so as to keep the listener on the same page (no pun intended).

Great story! Amazing detail
Allowed the story of John Clark to hit home in so many ways. The detail Clancy adds to the small aspects of life allow you to be consumed by the world.

Long Listen and Hard to Stop!

Incredible story worth suffering thru bad narrator
Prichard is horrible but the story is so good you can get used to it. The audio is equally bad. I had to download a booster app to ramp the volume to 200% to hear most chapters, but lucked into a booster with an equalizer. Boosting the base and dropping the mids and treble helped make Prichard's nasally, inflectionless voice more bearable.
As bad as his voice is, I would/will probably listen to it again, and if Audible re-releases it with someone decent like Scott Brick or maybe Jay Snyder, I'd buy it again even owning it already.
That being said... if you are a fan of the campus and Jack Ryan lines, you absolutely have to suffer through Prichard or just buy the book and read it outright; it adds so much depth to John Clark's character that it makes you want to go back and re-listen to every book he is a supporting character in again!
